Childhood Pictures
My mother sent me some pictures from my childhood and a few of our house. Some of these pictures will be used in upcoming blog posts, but for now, I thought I’d post a little preview. Most of these pictures are from when I was very young, but some of them were taken during that awkward middle stage where it looks like I should be old enough to know better than to look so dorky. My mother claims that when I first got glasses that they didn’t make many glasses for kids and that’s why my glasses were so dreadful. Enjoy:

I LOVED that! Thanks for sharing all those pics, Kathy! It is definitely appropriate that you were named after our sweet Aunt Kathy as your younger pics resemble her. You are sweet like I am told she was as well. :)
The picture of you (or is that Barbara?) and I making cookies is one I have never seen. My mom looks so young!
I cannot believe that you have that picture of the Hawaiian Luau(sp?) family reunion! That was sooo much fun! Do you have a copy of all the little boy butts standing around the pool? Love you lots & thanks for sharing!

The pictures I uploaded were from a group my mother sent me. She has much more than I do. I loved that cookie one. My mom told me she found a picture of me making cookies with grandma and I was so excited until I got the picture and looked at it. It’s Barbara. When I told my mom she took a closer look and confirmed that it was Barbara. It’s made me think about making sure to take more pictures of my kids with their grandmothers! Also I’ve set it up so that if you go to Flickr you can download a copy of any picture you want. Just click on “all sizes.”
