Happy Father’s Day – to Grandparents

Here is Isaac’s Card for Grandpa Bird.  This is the front cover and the back.  It’s interesting to me that he often draws it raining since we moved to Seattle.  I asked if he was frowning in the picture on the back because he missed his grandpa, he said it was because he couldn’t play outside because it was raining.Isaac's card for Grandpa Bird

The inside is a picture of “grandpa sitting in a chair” and he is watching Isaac play the game Terraria on the computer and more rain on the opposite side.Isaac's card for Grandpa Bird (1) Here is Charlotte’s card for Grandpa Bird.  The present was actually suppose to be the front of the card, but she got the card orientation all mixed up.

Charlotte's card for Grandpa Bird The inside of the card features a present full of presents for Grandpa.  The presents she drew are:  a ball, an ornament, a tree with no leaves, 3 ornaments, and two Christmas trees.Charlotte's card for Grandpa Bird (1) Nicole drew something like this for each of her grandparents:Nicole's drawing Ila’s drawing was so light you could barely see it and I didn’t even end up sending it because it was basically a blank white paper with a few faint crayon lines.

This is Isaac’s card for Grandpa Cochran.  He was actually quite proud of the cover.  He said it was raining “Happy Father’s” and the grass was “day.”Isaac's card for Grandpa Cochran I don’t understand the inside of the card.  I should ask him about it and update this post.  It looks a little bit like a waterfall.Isaac's card for Grandpa Cochran (1) Here is Charlotte’s card for Grandpa Cochran” (Nicole added the red scribbles):Charlotte's card for Grandpa Cochran (1) I liked the inside best.  Grandpa is saying “oh, a present” and she drew Zelda next to the present and had me write “present full of balls (the balls are cat toys).Charlotte's card for Grandpa Cochran We also bribed the kids to make cards for our current Bishop and our last Bishop.  Charlotte drew her cats on the cards (Jill on one, Eustace on the other).  Inside one of the cards she drew a big present for herself (I’m not sure why).  Isaac tried to make the cards he drew almost identical with a picture inside of himself and the bishop with a heart in-between.
