Finger-Painting
On Thursday (while Zach was gone) I told the kids that we would finger paint if they were good. We got some packing paper and finger paints out, but before we were even set up, Nicole grabbed the red and started squeezing it out and rubbing it all over herself. She cleaned off her hands by rubbing them on her arms and legs:
Charlotte and Isaac experimented with mixing colors:Ila tried to mix colors too:I love the expression on Charlotte’s face in the next one, you can tell she’s just had this idea that she thinks is great and she’s excited to try it out:Isaac thought it looked like blood (also notice the neighbor boy across the street—I told him that we were doing a family activity with just our family so he got a snack and watched from across the street):Charlotte was inspired by Nicole’s accidental face paint:Ila had fun. . .but she likes being clean, so she got cleaned up first:Nicole hoped right on her “purple car†before I could get her cleaned up (she obviously doesn’t have as much concern about being clean):And this little guy just hung out happily in a stroller and stayed mostly clean:
