Puddle Soup
There are few things more fun to young children than a nice big puddle:
Thomas kept squatting on the edge and leaning forward to touch the water. I was worried that he’d fall right in.
A few times he actually did fall forward and then catch himself:
Nicole and Ila decided to make “puddle soup” by throwing in rocks and dandelions;
After a little while, I heard a big splash and Thomas actually did fall in head first. I pulled off his filthy clothes before noticing her face was also covered in dirt. So, being the cruel and picture happy mother than I am, I set him down for a few quick pictures before washing his face off:
At least I rescued him from the puddle before taking a picture, right?
