Splash Pad at Riverwoods
I decided to meet up with our ward mother’s group at the splash pad at Riverwoods this morning. When I got there, I found out that they didn’t open for another 40 min, but the man was so nice that he offered to turn them on early for me and the kids. I had Ila, Thomas and our neighbor, Ian with me and the pictures I took turned out so fun that I had to share lots of them.
They were a little hesitant at first:
Thomas tried to scoop up water with his hand and drink it:He wasn’t the only thirsty kid:I told Ila to walk through the entire row of fountains:At one point, Ila stepped out of the water, folded her arms and said a little prayer that went something like “Heavenly Father, thank thee that we are having so much fun in the water and getting all wet. . .”And then he was done:
I love these pictures, especially the ones of Ila because they show the wonderful progression of Ila looking terrified in the first picture to thoroughly enjoying herself and being grateful.
COMPLETELY adorable!!!! Can’t wait to get together sometime!!
