Lu Lu’s and the Alamo

I wanted a real Texas experience, so we planned a Saturday outing to Lu Lu’s and the Alamo.  First was Lu Lu’s

The water glasses were enormous:IMG_1006The food was enormous (this was the small chicken fried steak covered in Queso):IMG_1007

And the cinnamon rolls are enormous:IMG_1014If you know how picky Ila is, you’ll understand how shocked I was when she just started eating the chicken nuggets even though they weren’t shaped like dinosaurs:IMG_1009IMG_1011She didn’t eat much before decided she’d rather eat “circle crackers” she even choose them over the gigantic cinnamon roll:IMG_1022Krista tried to capture a picture of me actually eating the cinnamon roll:IMG_1028IMG_1029Maybe one day I won’t have to bring a sleeve of crackers everywhere we go just in case Ila won’t eat any of the food:IMG_1031This seemed very Texas to me:IMG_1033Ila was asleep when we arrived at The Alamo:IMG_1037Thomas loved the fish:IMG_1052While we were being amused with Krista’s attempts to do this:IMG_1057

The boys took off with the stroller:IMG_1058IMG_1063IMG_1065IMG_1068Ila woke up as we were leaving so we walked back for another picture:IMG_1077
