Ila’s birthday
Ila’s actual birthday was on a Sunday. I let her open up a present before church. It was princess dolls with easily changeable dresses:
She opened more presents after church. Probably the most memorable gift was the chicken nugget flavored lip balm from her Aunt Laresa.
Before bedtime, Ila helped me make chocolate ice cream.
We had chocolate cupcakes. . .
and Ila caught her hair on fire while blowing out her candles.
Her burned hair smelled so bad, that I gave her a haircut after the other kids went to bed. Here is the before picture, but she was too busy looking down for a good after picture.
