This first picture is of a cardboard ferry boat that Isaac made for Thomas.
I celebrated my birthday. It’s a Cochran family tradition to sing the birthday song really badly and off key. Also the candles were a few years off on my age.Thomas enjoys playing in the water: Isaac received his Bear advancement at our last pack meeting: Here are a few more pictures from the activities at pack meeting: Charlotte and Thomas helped me weed the flower bed, it was quite overgrown with weeds when we got back from our trip. Nicole attempted to put on some make-up: Ila and Thomas eating big marshmallows:Nicole attempted to fix her hair. She said she wanted it all up. I gave her a little help, but we kept the some of the weird colorful bows: I took Isaac and Charlotte to see their Aunt Heidi preform in Les Miserables: Isaac and Charlotte also had some friends in the play: Ila set up some stools to make it easier for Thomas to crawl into a big box: Charlotte keeps trying to photo-bomb my pictures. Here she is dancing into a picture I was trying to take of Nicole: We’ve started harvesting from our garden:Charlotte and Thomas getting soaked by the neighbor’s sprinklers:Charlotte and Ila have been playing together a lot lately. Here they are playing twister with Charlotte’s cat: It started to rain so Nicole got an umbrella and a light saber for some reason:Thomas had a Sunday afternoon walk with his dad:
I took the kids to the newly renovated Orem fitness center pool. Nicole was done with swimming really early into our trip and spent the rest of the time sitting on a chair with a towel: Charlotte loves the water and never wants to leave: The boys had a little water war: Nicole rocking out: Thomas likes to crawl into Isaac’s bed at night. Here they are sound asleep on two different night: Ila is proud of her empty shot pen collection: July 24th is Pioneer Day. It’s a state holiday that celebrates the pioneers settling the state of Utah, but it’s also a religious holiday for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ila and Thomas helped carry some things over for our evening gathering: It’s celebrated much the same way as Independence day with parades and fireworks: Nicole fixed her own hair. She was afraid of the sparklers, but she wanted to try them: She kept getting nervous and dropping them in the grass or on the sidewalk. She thought she had succeeded in sparklers when the fire went out. Nicole was a little nervous about the fireworks, but she actually enjoyed them: A neighbor gave us the great idea to pass the sparklers through a cup to protect the children’s hands as they played with them. Nicole lifted her sparkler triumphantly in the air and announced that now the sparkler couldn’t kill her. The next day I met some of my friends from my youth at a splash pad. We had 12 kids between the three of us: Nicole was having a conversation with this penguin:Zach was out watering the flowers when the children asked for a drink from the hose:
Isaac attached some bottle rockets to paper airplanes with limited success:
