Luckily, candles can be re-lit: Charlotte never seems to tire of the slip ‘n slide: Nicole couldn’t be convinced that her dress was on backwards: Eventually we settled for allowing her to wear it backwards, but with the buttons properly buttoned. I’ve been wanting to try maple bacon doughnuts, so I made my own for family night:Ila and Charlotte with some of their favorite little girls in the neighborhood: Thomas decided it was time to learn how to use scissors. My sister would laugh at me taking so many pictures of him cutting paper, but I can’t help myself, I think he’s cute when he attempts to cut paper: Isaac has started football practice. He’s on his second week of daily early morning practices. So far he has a lot to learn, but he is practicing hard and he really likes it.Here’s a little tackle instruction in the kitchen with his best friend: Charlotte had a friend over this last week. The girls had a lot of fun on the slip n’ side. Unfortunately, after more than two hours her friend was more than done, but Charlotte couldn’t be convinced that it was time to change activities. Thomas also had his buddy, Ian over. I love that there are so many kids around for my kids to play with. Zach picked out this orange Tennessee blanket for Ila’s bed. Ila loves it. She said “it’s amazing!” and then wanted to go to bed an hour early to try it out. Nicole has been caught regularly helping herself to food in the kitchen lately. I caught her trying to walk out of the kitchen with a handful of cheese. I had her sit in her seat and eat it in a bowl. For some reason she added water to the bowl and then picked the cheese out. Charlotte has been making herself eggs for breakfast every morning. Ila and Thomas with the things they choose from a fundraising bake sale in the neighborhood: Our ward/neighborhood picnic.
