Other things from the last month
Here are some of the other things I didn’t share over the last month or so. Isaac and I removed the fence slats between our house and the neighbors. We have a wood fence on the other three sides.
I think it looks much better without the worn ugly slats.I attempted to get organized about lunches, but my kids are still mostly eating lunchables. Actually what happened is they started just using my containers of food to supplement the lunchables.I got to go on a field trip to the Timpanogous Storytelling festival with my kids. I think it’s cool that my kids’ school is so close to the canyon that we can just walk there for a field trip. It also makes me smile to see how Charlotte’s friend photo-bombed our picture:We planted our first garden this year and I learned how to can. I made pickles, pepper jellies, grape jelly and Salsas.Charlotte was especially jealous of Nicole’s new room so we’ve made plans to redo the girl’s room for their birthdays. Charlotte and Ila both have birthdays in December and they share a room so it will work out perfectly. We got started this week with some small things, here’s a little teaser:
Zach and I had our assignment at church changed. We now both work with the Webelos. It took me a little while to learn the system, but it’s a good change because we get to work with Isaac. This morning my big kids decided to teach their younger siblings how to clean the bathrooms. I think they thought it would speed up the cleaning, but it probably actually took them longer. I love seeing them work together and I think they all enjoyed working together.
